AMENDED MINUTES
THESE MINUTES ARE SUBJECT TO APPROVAL BY BOARD OF SELECTMEN
The Board of Selectmen held a special meeting Wednesday, August 24, 2011 in the Board Room of the C.H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street, Newtown. First Selectman Llodra called the meeting to order at 8:05 pm.
PRESENT: First Selectman E. Patricia Llodra, Selectman William F.L. Rodgers, Selectman William F. Furrier.
ALSO PRESENT: Board of Education Chairman Bill Hart and Board of Education members Debbie Leidlein and Andrew Buzzi. Also, Board of Finance Chairman John Kortze and Vice Chairman James Gaston, Legislative Council members Ben Spragg, Mary Ann Jacob and Kathy Fetchick.
EXECUTIVE SESSION: Selectman Rodgers moved to enter executive session to discuss a pending legal claim regarding student transportation. Selectman Furrier seconded. All in favor. Invited to attend were Ms. Llodra, Mr. Rodgers, Mr. Furrier, Mr. Hart, Ms. Leidlein, Mr. Buzzi, Mr. Kortze, Mr. Gaston, Mr. Spragg, Ms. Jacob and Ms. Fetchick. Executive session was entered into at 8:10 pm and returned to regular session at 10:30 pm with no motion taken.
ADJOURNMENT: Having no further business the Board of Selectmen adjourned their special meeting at 10:31 pm.
